Jake has had over 20 years of experience within the construction industry in Queensland; from trade to design consultant. Jake’s is a licensed plumber, drainer and gas fitter and designer.  Jake is a member of the AHSCA and is a corporate licensee with the QBCC for Hydraulic Services Design. Jakes professionalism, planning, communication and creativity provide clients and staff with a valued and dependable level of experience and ability. Jake is driven to provide quality project delivery via design management and resource allocation including the ongoing support and professional development of the SJM team.

Stuart has had over 20 years of experience within the construction industry, from trade to design consultant. Stuart is a licensed plumber, drainer and gas fitter and designer. Stuart is a member of the AHSCA and is a corporate licensee with QBCC for Hydraulic services design. Stuart is committed to providing clients with cost effective designs focusing on construction costs and build ability. He provides our clients with practical expertise from concept right through to completion. His involvement in large scale and land mark developments has given him a strong understanding of the industry in which he applies to all projects.

Our team consists of trade qualified designers and degree qualified engineers, with trade experience in plumbing and design in complex projects. We provide the highest level of service to our clients by being accessible and approachable throughout the lifetime of the project. With trade and engineering backgrounds, our team of consultants have the practical and technical knowledge that sets us apart in our ability to provide solutions that are workable and cost effective for our clients. Amongst the consultant team, there is a wealth of knowledge and a collaborative approach to all projects, which we believe is an essential tool for delivering excellent project outcomes and staff development. In every great design and consultancy team there is always a solid drafting and modelling team which provides the backbone to the delivery of successful projects. Our drafting and modelling team are committed to producing a product which is second to none and take pride in this incessantly day to day. From 2D drafting to 3D modelling and BIM projects, our team are well versed in the production of quality documentation.

SJM utilises the latest in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks software technology for team collaboration and coordination internally and with external consultant and contractor teams. The ability to produce models for coordination with other service and building contractors has seen many successful projects streamlined through the coordination phase with 3D clash detection workshops.

Whether the project is large or small, our team is focused on the buildability of the systems which we design. The collective approach between the consultant and drafting teams ensures all projects find the solution that works best for the application.

Quality control is essential in any business, and quality assurance processes and protocols have been embedded into the processes and procedures used at SJM to ensure our services and documentation are always of the highest quality and standard, as per ISO 9001 requirements. Our design, drafting and document control teams always work together to deliver on these assurances.
