Our designs are unique, and individualised to meet the needs of the project. We do this by listening and engaging with our clients and key stakeholders, evaluating each project’s constraints and opportunities, then engineering practical and buildable design concepts while promoting sustainable solutions that will meet the project outcomes.
We invest in research and development to ensure our hydraulic design solutions are current and meeting industry best practices. Our scientific research into performance-based solutions allows us to work effectively within project restraints as well as provide more cost effective designs. Our focus is to remain competitive through continuous learning of new and improved products and practices in the hydraulic industry.
OUR HISTORY
Stuart Johnson and Jake Maguire founded SJM Hydraulics in 2013, when they saw an opportunity within the hydraulic design market to provide a fresh, professional service to the industry. Since then, SJM has grown strongly from a boutique consultancy into a large specialist hydraulic and fire design and consultancy firm. Now SJM have resources and technologies in-house to enable quality designs for all project scales, from small tenancies to multi-billion dollar developments.
